Basketball

Good news to our Grade School Basketeers! We are in the process of organizing our Grade School Basketball Varsity Team for SY 2009-10. Only incoming Grade 4 - 6 students will be considered to be part of this team. The Summer Basketball Clinic will be a good opportunity to try out potential members of this GS Basketball Varsity Team by our Varsity coach.

This summer, Basketball Clinic will be offered in two (2) modules to be supervised by our Varsity Coach, Nixon Distrito. A skill test will be given in each module during the first session to determine the category (beginner or advance) of each participant

Module 1, Beginner & Advance (Introduction of Basketball Skills)

Basics:
Balance, Footwork, Ball Handling & Dribbling, Passing & Catching

Shot Training:
Shooting Form, Free Throw Shooting Form and Square up from a Pass

Training Fee:
P3,500.00 (includes ball, jersey, towel & water bottle)

Schedule:
April 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28 , 29 and 30 (10 sessions, 2 hrs per session)

Time:
9:00 - 11:00 am

Module 2, Beginner & Advance (Application of Basketball Skills In Actual Games)

Team Concept:
Basic and Advance Offensive Knowledge, Basic and Advance Defense, and Understanding Team Play

Training Fee:
P3,500.00 (includes ball, jersey, towel & water bottle)

Schedule:
May 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21 and 26 (10 sessions, 2 hrs per session)

Time:
9:00 - 11:00 am

Attire:
Shorts, Jersey and Rubber shoes (preferably for basketball)

We encourage those interested in making to the GS Basketball Varsity Team to enroll in the Summer Program.

TAEKWONDO

Taekwondo training will be handled by Taekwondo Coach Jeffrey Sanndy Layug.

Training Fee:
P3,500.00 for 21 sessions at 2 hours per session

Schedule:
Every Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays , 1:00 to 3:00 pm
April 13 to May 29, 2009

MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP

In collaboration with KIDS ACTS PHILIPPINES, INC. (KAPI), we are offering acting, singing and dancing lessons in this Musical Theatre Workshop for children and teens, 3 -16 years old. The Musical Theatre Workshop aims to hone the children's skills in the Performing Arts, build confidence, concentration and develop creativity and imagination through fun, unique and interactive acting exercises and theatre games. The workshop will culminate with a recital play.

Schedule:
(MWF) April 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29 May 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22
30 - hour Program (2.5 - 3 hours per session)

Time:
9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Fee :
P4,500.00

(Costumes for the Recital Play to be provided by the student)

VIOLIN LESSONS IN GROUP

This summer, we will introduce Group Lessons in violin to students ages 12 years old and older. The end goal of the Program is to put up our own String Orchestra. The lessons will be supervised by Mr. Cayetano Edward B. Aquias of the Aquias Talent Builder (ATB). Its Music Enhancement Training Program already produced talents who are now members of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra.

Lessons Fee:
P2,400.00 for 12 sessions at 1.5 hours per session

Schedule:
Every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
April 21 to May 28, 2009

Enrollees are required to bring their own violins. To those who do not have violins yet, you may purchase from ATB at: P2,500.00 - P3,000.00 or you may get them from any music store.
